Made Fresh Weekly

Every step in your routine is a chance for heat to quietly undo the last.

Most routines are assembled from products that were never designed to work together, stored in conditions that degrade their actives independently. The Essentials Routine is a single system: every step formulated for the next, every ingredient cold-preserved from arrival through formulation and storage. Three minutes, morning and evening.

What's Inside

Cleanse, tone, nourish, and protect. Each step formulated to prepare your skin for the next, and each one cold-preserved so the actives inside are intact when they reach you.

B-Meltee: Cooling Facial Cleanser

The first step. Wintergreen and peppermint oils dissolve makeup, sunscreen, and daily buildup at the pore level while cold-preserved niacinamide regulates oil production and brightens tone during the wash itself. Coconut-derived glucoside surfactants clean without stripping the moisture barrier that most cleansers destroy. Your skin feels clean and cool. Never tight.

Gaea's Gala: Galactomyces Ferment Toner (bonus mini)

The prep step. Six ingredients, every one functional. Galactomyces ferment filtrate refines pore texture and feeds the beneficial microflora that protect your skin's surface. Rose damascena distillate restores the pH your cleanser disrupted. Niacinamide strengthens the moisture barrier. This is what makes everything that follows absorb better and work harder.

Cryo-C: Vitamin C Glow Serum

The correction step. Lipid-soluble vitamin C penetrates through the skin's oil barrier to reach the melanocytes where dark spots form, inhibiting the enzyme that causes pigment overproduction. Siberian sea buckthorn oil delivers antioxidant protection and the visible glow that reviewers describe within the first week. Rosehip oil and plant squalane support cell turnover and create the smooth, light-reflecting surface that makes radiance visible.

D.B.T. Baba Yaga: Peptide & Ceramide Face Cream

The structural step. Three collagen-signaling peptides trigger your skin's own collagen production, targeting the fine lines that form when that production slows. A bio-identical ceramide complex (three ceramide types, phytosphingosine, and cholesterol) restores the moisture barrier that thins with age. German chamomile and rose damascena calm inflammation so the actives can work without competing against irritation. This is the step that seals everything beneath it.

"My skin responded overnight in becoming more hydrated without drying out; within a few days I noticed my skin seemed more youthful, a little firmer. This is the best skincare I have used and I've used many, many products."

Why This System Works When Separate Products Didn't

If you've built a skincare routine from separate products and the results were disappointing, the individual products may not have been the problem.

A skincare routine is a chain. Your cleanser prepares the surface for your toner. Your toner prepares the surface for your serum. Your serum delivers the actives that your cream seals in. When one link fails, every step downstream underperforms.

Here's what happens when that chain sits in warm storage for months before you open it.

Niacinamide in your cleanser hydrolyzes into nicotinic acid, a vasodilator that causes flushing and irritation. Your toner absorbs into an inflamed surface. The galactomyces ferment in your toner is a living culture whose metabolites die in heat. Without those metabolites, pH isn't restored and your serum penetrates into skin that isn't ready for it. Your vitamin C oxidizes, losing the enzyme-inhibiting function that fades dark spots. And the peptide bonds in your cream fracture through hydrolysis, so nothing signals the fibroblasts that build collagen. The last step was supposed to protect everything beneath it. There's nothing left to protect.

Wild Ice cold-preserves every step of the Essentials Routine at 4°C from ingredient arrival through formulation and storage. The cleanser's niacinamide stays as niacinamide. The toner's ferment stays alive. The serum's vitamin C stays un-oxidized. The cream's peptides stay intact. Each step does what it was formulated to do, and each one sets up the next.

"These products make my skin look brighter, smoother & softer as well as helping to decrease lines … the 4 step system makes my skin care regiment so easy in the morning & nighttime!"

Each full-size bottle: 50 mL / 1.7 fl oz | Bonus mini toner: 8 mL / 0.3 fl oz | Reorder: Most customers reorder every 10 weeks

How to Use

Morning and evening:

  1. Dampen skin, massage 1 pump of B-Meltee in small circles for 60 seconds. Rinse with lukewarm water. Pat dry.
  2. Mist 3-5 sprays of Gaea's Gala over face and neck from 6-8 inches away. Let air dry for 30 seconds.
  3. Shake Cryo-C gently and dispense 2-3 pumps. Press and smooth over face and neck. Allow 60 seconds for absorption.
  4. Dispense 1-2 pumps of D.B.T. Baba Yaga. Smooth over face, neck, and décolletage with light upward strokes. Pat gently around eyes and lips with your ring finger.

Tip: The entire routine takes about three minutes. If you're short on time in the morning, the two steps that matter most are Cryo-C and D.B.T. Baba Yaga (steps 3 and 4).

Storage: You don't need to refrigerate products during daily use, but we recommend finishing each bottle within 90 days of leaving the fridge. If you're not ready to start using a product right away, store it cold until you are (the kitchen fridge is fine). Don't freeze water-based products, and shake well after thawing if any do freeze. Keep all products out of direct sunlight.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to replace my whole routine?

Not necessarily. The Essentials Routine covers every fundamental step: cleanse, tone, nourish, and protect. If you already have a cleanser or toner you like, Cryo-C and D.B.T. Baba Yaga alone cover the two steps that deliver the most visible results. The Glow Duo bundles those two together. But if you're starting fresh or want every step covered by the same cold chain, the Essentials Routine is the simplest path.

How long will these last?

Most customers finish B-Meltee in 8 to 10 weeks, the Gaea's Gala mini in about a week, Cryo-C in 6 to 8 weeks, and D.B.T. Baba Yaga in 8 to 10 weeks. Subscribers get automatic shipments every 10 weeks, but you can adjust the timing from your customer portal if your products last longer or shorter.

Can I cancel the subscription anytime?

Yes, and you don't need to call or email anyone. Log into your customer portal and you can cancel, pause, skip an order, swap products, change frequency, or reschedule your next delivery. Everything is one tap. The portal goes live the moment your first order processes.

What if I already use one of these products?

The Essentials Routine is the most cost-effective way to add the rest. Many customers start with one product and add the others after seeing what the first one does alone. If you only want two, the Glow Duo (Cryo-C + D.B.T. Baba Yaga) pairs the correction and protection steps.

Is this routine okay for sensitive skin?

Every product in the Essentials Routine is free of chemical preservatives, synthetic fragrances, synthetic dyes, parabens, and phthalates. D.B.T. Baba Yaga contains German chamomile and rose damascena, both anti-inflammatory. B-Meltee uses coconut-derived glucoside surfactants, among the gentlest available. If you have very reactive skin, start with steps 3 and 4 (Cryo-C and D.B.T. Baba Yaga) and add the cleanser and toner after your skin adjusts.

What's not in these formulas?

No chemical preservatives (cold does the preserving), no synthetic fragrances (scents come from botanical oils and distillates), no synthetic dyes (colors come from natural plant compounds), no parabens, no phthalates, no sulfates, and no animal-derived ingredients. Every product in the Essentials Routine is 100% vegan and cruelty-free.

Product FAQ

The ingredients on your label are probably excellent. The problem is what happened to them before they reached your skin.

Conventional skincare absorbs heat at every stop between the factory and your bathroom. That heat breaks down the actives you're paying for.

We measured exactly how much.

Preservatives Fight One Problem. Heat Causes Three.

Bacterial growth

Bacterial Digestion

Bacteria multiply in warm formulas. Preservatives suppress this. So does cold, without the chemical load on your skin.

Oxidation reactions

Redox Reactions

Heat drives chemical reactions that degrade vitamin C, ceramides, and peptides. Preservatives don't slow this process. Cold does.

Enzymatic activity

Enzymatic Activity

Plant enzymes keep breaking down botanical compounds after harvest. Preservatives don't affect this. Cold puts them on pause.

Skincare mini fridge with rotten banana illustrating that cold cannot reverse prior heat damage

Cold Can't Unspoil the Banana

Beauty fridges are popular because everyone wants fresh skincare. But putting conventional products in one makes about as much sense as refrigerating an old banana.

Your serum already absorbed 1,900+ degree-days of heat damage before it reached you. Months of warm ingredient storage, manufacturing, and warehousing.

A spoiled banana has the courtesy to turn brown. A degraded cream looks and feels identical to a fresh one. You just wonder why your skin isn't improving.

Beauty fridges make conventional skincare cold at the end. Wild Ice is cold from the beginning.

A flower preserved in a block of ice

Why Don't Other Brands Chill Too?

Retail won't refrigerate it. Amazon requires products to withstand 155°F indefinitely. Contract manufacturers formulate at room temperature. The conventional supply chain is built around products that survive heat, not products that avoid it.

Cold preservation means no retail placement, no marketplace distribution, no outsourced production. It requires small-batch formulation, dedicated cold storage, and shipping directly to you.

We built Wild Ice from the ground up around that model.

Meet Your Formulator

I grew up in the Soviet Union watching my grandmother make skincare from her garden. It worked because it was fresh. There was no other option.

In 2018, I began cold-storing every ingredient and finished product. I hadn't changed a single formula. The reviews changed on their own.

A national retailer offered us shelf placement but refused to refrigerate our products. We walked away.

I hand-formulate every product in small weekly batches. I've worn every formula through three pregnancies. Every bottle is one I'd use on my own family.

“I purchased this product to help combat the effects of aging. It’s working! I have a friend who is an esthetician. She asked if I had been receiving Botox or had changed my skin care routine. The only thing different has been Cryo-C! It smells and feels amazing. Fine lines and wrinkles are appearing less noticeable. I definitely recommend this product!”

“My skin is moody and picky. I have spent thousands of dollars trying to find products that will balance my dry/oily/red/hormonal skin. I use two drops in morning and three drops in evening. Three days in, my teen daughter said she loved my highlighter on cheekbones. It was this oil that luminated my skin! Had to reorder immediately.”

Janet K. · Cryo-C Serum

“After a 30 day pre-cancer treatment that was recommended by my dermatologist, I had scabs and sores all over my face. I wanted my face healed quickly. Thanks to this entire line my face healed quickly, and stayed moisturized. My skin never cracked. Each product connected to the other to help me get my face back to normal. A big thank you.”

“Thank you for not compromising your products just to get yourself in a store. Your products have transformed my skin! My skin has never looked better. Common Questions About Cold-Preserved Skincare

Do I need a beauty fridge?

It helps but it's not required. Our products are formulated to remain stable at room temperature for the duration of normal use (most customers finish a product within 6-8 weeks). The cold preservation advantage happens before the product reaches you: cold-stored ingredients, cold formulation, cold warehousing. That's where conventional skincare accumulates months of heat damage that we avoid entirely.

If you do have a beauty fridge, storing Wild Ice products in it will extend their potency even further. But you're already getting the product at a level of freshness that room-temperature brands can't match, fridge or no fridge.

What if my package sits at my door while I'm at work?

A few hours of doorstep time doesn't meaningfully affect the product. Conventional skincare accumulates thousands of degree-days of heat damage across its supply chain lifecycle. A package sitting in afternoon sun for four hours might add a single-digit number of degree-days. The gap between Wild Ice and conventional products is so large that even a full day on a hot porch leaves our products with a fraction of the heat damage a conventional product accumulated before it was even sealed in its box.

How long do products last once I'm using them?

Most customers use a product within 6-8 weeks of receiving it. During that time, stored at room temperature, the product remains stable and effective. If you're not planning to start using it right away (gifting it, finishing another product first), store it in any refrigerator until you're ready. The kitchen fridge works fine.

Our products don't contain the heavy chemical preservative loads that give conventional skincare an 18-month shelf life, because they don't need them. They're made fresh, shipped fast, and designed to be used, not stockpiled.

Are your products safe during pregnancy and breastfeeding?

Mila formulated and tested every Wild Ice product during pregnancy and breastfeeding. She has worn every formula through three pregnancies. Our products use no parabens, no synthetic fragrances, no phthalates, and no chemical preservatives: the ingredients you're typically told to avoid during pregnancy aren't in the bottle to begin with.

Hundreds of customers have used Wild Ice products during pregnancy and breastfeeding. That said, we always recommend checking with your OB or midwife before adding anything new to your routine. Every practitioner has their own guidance, and we respect that.

If cold preservation is so effective, why isn't everyone doing it?

Because it's expensive, logistically difficult, and incompatible with how the industry distributes products. Conventional skincare is built to survive months of warm warehousing, long-haul freight, and retail shelf display. That entire infrastructure depends on products being shelf-stable in heat.

Major retailers won't install product fridges that rearrange floor space and make their other lines look inferior. Amazon requires products to withstand 155°F indefinitely, with no exceptions. We asked.

Cold preservation requires a completely different model: small batches, dedicated cold storage, direct-to-consumer shipping, and no retail partners. Most brands can't or won't restructure their entire operation around temperature control. We built Wild Ice from scratch specifically to do this, and we turned down retail distribution to protect it.

Do you ship cold?

Not yet, though we're actively working on it. Here's why it matters less than you'd think.

The days a product spends in a shipping box are a tiny fraction of its total lifecycle. The real damage in conventional skincare happens during months of warm ingredient storage, warehousing, and retail display. That's where thousands of degree-days of heat damage accumulate. Transit adds a small, single-digit number by comparison.

We could put a cold pack in every box. But that would be an expensive gesture solving roughly 2% of the problem while raising your price. The cold preservation that matters is everything before the box, and that's the part we've solved.
