Rarify: Acne Spot Treatment
A cold-preserved spot treatment for blemish-prone skin, built on the opposite idea from most: instead of clearing a blemish by stripping the skin around it (which is what invites the next one), Rarify calms the look of a spot while keeping that skin soft. White willow bark brings the botanical form of salicylic acid; black cumin settles the look of redness; and pracaxi oil, one of nature’s richest sources of behenic acid, is why it never dries. Formulated in small weekly batches and held at 4°C from raw ingredient to finished bottle, so its delicate botanicals reach your skin intact and every drop performs like the first. A clear, light golden oil that absorbs fast and layers cleanly over or under everything else. No synthetic salicylic acid, no benzoyl peroxide, no chemical preservatives, because cold does their job.

Common Questions
No. That’s the whole design. Most spot formulas clear a blemish by stripping the skin around it; Rarify uses calming botanicals with pracaxi and andiroba oils so the surrounding skin stays soft. Reviewers consistently mention no dryness or peeling.
Many customers describe a blemish looking calmer within a day or two. Deeper spots take longer. Consistency matters: dab it on morning and evening until the spot settles.
Most customers get 2 to 3 months from one 8 ml bottle, because you’re placing a single drop on a spot, not covering your whole face. Some report even longer.
Yes. The warm golden color is simply the natural color of the botanical oils, and it can shift a little from batch to batch because real botanicals do. There are no synthetic dyes.

Cold-preserved from the moment it's formulated: no warm warehouses, no months on a shelf, no chemical stabilizers. Three actives reach your skin at the same potency as the day they were made. Tap a card to see the mechanism.
Nature’s salicylic acid
White willow bark is the botanical source of salicylic acid, the same family behind conventional pore-clarifying formulas, but here it arrives with the bark’s own calming compounds and an enzymatic ferment that loosens dead surface cells gently. The result is a clarified-looking spot with calm, intact skin around it, not the stripped, tight feeling harsh actives leave behind.
The settling botanical
Cold-pressed black cumin oil is rich in thymoquinone, the compound prized in botanical skincare for calming the look of red, angry skin. It settles the visible flush around a blemish and helps balance the feel of oilier areas, so a spot reads as less inflamed rather than simply dried out.
The reason it never dries
A rare Amazonian oil and one of nature’s richest sources of behenic acid, a very long-chain fatty acid. This is the ingredient that makes Rarify non-drying: it replenishes the lipid layer harsh spot treatments strip away, keeping the skin around a blemish nourished and soft. It also helps the look of post-blemish marks fade, so skin looks more even as it settles.
Conventional skincare vs Wild Ice
One degree-day = one degree above refrigeration, for one day.
237× the heat exposure before it ever touches your face. The delicate botanicals that calm the look of a blemish reach your skin intact, so every drop performs like the first, not like the tired end of a warm-stored bottle.

More on why heat matters
Three short chapters: the journey, the chemistry, and the beauty-fridge problem
The Journey That Adds Up
The Problem Was Never Your Routine.
Preservatives fight one problem. Heat causes three.
1
Bacterial Digestion
Bacteria multiply in warm formulas. Preservatives suppress them. Cold slows them too, without adding to what your skin has to absorb.
2
Redox Reactions
Heat drives chemical reactions that degrade vitamin C, ceramides, and peptides. Preservatives don't slow this process. Cold does.
3
Enzymatic Activity
Plant enzymes keep breaking down botanical compounds after harvest. Preservatives don't affect this. Cold puts them on pause.
Cold Can't Unspoil the Banana
Everyone wants fresh skincare. That's why beauty fridges are everywhere. But chilling a conventional serum makes about as much sense as refrigerating an old banana.
Your serum absorbed 1,956 degree-days of heat before it ever met a fridge. A banana at least has the courtesy to turn brown; a degraded cream looks and feels identical to a fresh one.
Beauty fridges make conventional skincare cold at the end. Wild Ice is cold from the beginning.

Between warm warehouses, hot freight, and un-chilled retail shelves, it's nearly impossible to get big while staying cold. The industry won't change until enough customers demand it. Someone had to take the plunge first, so we did.
Fresh was never optional
I grew up in the Soviet Union watching my grandmother make skincare from her garden. It worked because it was fresh. There was no other option.
In 2018, I began cold-storing every ingredient and finished product. I hadn't changed a single formula; the reviews changed on their own. A national retailer offered us shelf placement but refused to refrigerate. We walked away.
Every product is made in our studio, in small weekly batches. I've worn every formula through three pregnancies. Every bottle is one I'd use on my own family.
