So why don't all brands chill?
Between warm warehouses, hot freight, and un-chilled retail shelves, it's nearly impossible to get big while staying cold. The industry won't change until enough customers demand it. Someone had to take the plunge first, so we did.
Fresh was never optional
I grew up in the Soviet Union watching my grandmother make skincare from her garden. It worked because it was fresh. There was no other option.
In 2018, I began cold-storing every ingredient and finished product. I hadn't changed a single formula; the reviews changed on their own. A national retailer offered us shelf placement but refused to refrigerate. We walked away.
Every product is made in our studio, in small weekly batches. I've worn every formula through three pregnancies. Every bottle is one I'd use on my own family.
B-Meltee uses coconut-derived glucoside cleansers, which are among the gentlest available. The wintergreen and peppermint create a noticeable cooling sensation, but the formula is balanced with chamomile, aloe, and holy basil to keep it comfortable. Many customers with sensitive skin, including some prone to eczema, use B-Meltee without issues. There is also a second factor most people never consider: when niacinamide degrades in warm storage, it converts to nicotinic acid, which causes flushing and irritation. If you have reacted to niacinamide products before, the niacinamide itself may not have been the cause. Cold preservation prevents that conversion, so the formula that reaches your skin is the one that was designed.
The blue comes from natural botanical compounds in the formula. No synthetic dyes, no colorants of any kind. It is one of the first things people notice, and it is what a cleanser looks like when it is made entirely from real plant extracts rather than synthetic alternatives.
The clean, comfortable, never-tight feeling arrives from the first wash. Smoother-looking texture usually shows within the first week as the natural AHA complex resurfaces the surface, and a brighter, more even-looking tone builds gradually over weeks of consistent use, because niacinamide works from within. Consistency matters more than quantity; morning and evening.
Yes. The cool tingle is the wintergreen and peppermint oils increasing local circulation at the surface, not a fragrance or a numbing agent. It should feel invigorating and settle within a minute. If your skin is especially reactive, start once a day and build up.
About 8 to 10 weeks using one pump twice daily. A single pump covers the full face and neck, so a little goes a long way.
You don't need to refrigerate products during daily use, but we recommend finishing each bottle within 90 days of leaving the fridge. If you're not ready to start using a product right away, store it cold until you are (the kitchen fridge is fine). Don't freeze water-based products, and keep all products out of direct sunlight. A beauty fridge is a nice bonus, not a requirement: the cold-preservation advantage happens before the product ever reaches you.
Yes. The wintergreen and peppermint oils dissolve makeup effectively, including around the eyes (avoid direct contact with eyes). For heavy or waterproof makeup, massage for 90 seconds instead of the standard 60. You should not need a separate makeup remover.
