Fresh Essentials for Sensitive Skin

If your skin reacts to almost everything, it helps that there is very little in these bottles to react to

Start with these three

Begin here

D.B.T. Baba Yaga

Reactive skin is usually barrier skin, and a stressed barrier runs short on ceramides. This cream puts them back at the end of the evening, with no synthetic fragrance riding along.

Add this next

Gaea's Gala

No synthetic fragrance, no dyes and six functional ingredients, which is about as little as a toner can carry. If most products give you trouble, this is the lowest-risk step to add first.

When you want more

Berry Boreal Bod

Your face is not the only part that reacts. Elderberry and blue tansy carry a featherlight oil, and it sinks in under a minute.

The Glow Duo: Vitamin C Serum + Peptide Cream, cold-preserved skincare by Wild Ice Botanicals
Buy the routine

Starting with two bottles instead of four

The Glow Duo is Cryo-C and D.B.T. Baba Yaga, morning and night. When your skin is reactive, adding two things at once tells you far more than adding four. You can always fill in the cleanser and the toner later.

Answered

The first question is the one our own line raises. Here is the honest answer.

How do I know one of these will not set my skin off?
You do not, not for certain, and anyone who promises otherwise is guessing. What you can do is start with one product rather than four. Patch test it on your inner arm and give your skin a week to answer. Fewer ingredients means fewer things to rule out if something does not agree with you. If it turns out not to suit you, there is a thirty day money-back guarantee behind the order.
Why is cold preservation such a big deal? (And why does no one else do it?)

We get this question constantly. Usually right after "Wait, this makes so much sense!"

Here's the thing: You already know cold keeps things fresh. You keep your organic salad in the fridge. Your $15 green juice? Chilled. That expensive probiotic supplement? Refrigerated. So why are you okay with your $80 vitamin C serum sitting in a hot warehouse for months?

The beauty industry has convinced you that "shelf-stable" equals convenient. But shelf-stable really means pumped full of preservatives or stripped of anything that could actually transform your skin. Cold preservation keeps delicate active ingredients perfectly intact. No chemical preservatives needed. No ingredients breaking down into irritating compounds. Just pure, potent skincare that actually works.

Why we're the only ones: Most brands can't control their production – they outsource to facilities that don't offer refrigeration. Amazon requires products to withstand 155°F heat (yes, really). And retailers? They're not about to install refrigerators that make their other products look inferior by comparison.

We chose the hard path. We make everything ourselves, keep it cold until shipping, and partner only with boutiques willing to use our Iceberg displays. Because fresh skincare shouldn't be a compromise.

Does Cryo-C contain synthetic dyes or fragrances?

Absolutely not! Like all Wild Ice products, Cryo-C’s beautiful scent and color comes from botanicals and other natural ingredients.

Can I use Berry Boreal Bod on my face?

We’ve designed Berry Boreal Bod to be deeply hydrating for your entire body. To hydrate the delicate skin on your face, we recommend D.B.T. Baba Yaga—our Siberian Cold Cream.

Where does your rose water come from?

We use high-quality, organic rose water sourced from a small farm in Bulgaria. We freeze the water until it’s ready to use for the cream, so it stays fresh and potent.

Are your products vegan?

Absolutely, our products are always vegan. They never contain tallow or any other animal fats or animal by-products.

Why there is so little in the bottle

Sensitive skin is not fragile. It just tells you quickly when something in a formula does not agree with it. Often that something was added so the formula could sit on a shelf for years without changing. We do not need those additions, because we preserve with cold instead of chemistry. Every batch is small, and it stays at 4°C in our own studio until your order goes out.

That leaves very little in the bottle, and reactive skin tends to get along better with less. The toner runs to six functional ingredients, with no fillers, no synthetic fragrance and no dyes in it. Introduce one thing at a time and you will know what to blame if your skin objects. That is easier to do when the list you are testing is this small.
