The cleanser and the cream, plus what goes between

The Essentials Routine puts the cleanser and the cream in one order, with the toner and the serum in between. Those four bottles come to $225 if you buy them one at a time, and $202.50 if you take them together. For dry skin the first step and the last one do most of the work.

Answered

The first question is the one our own line raises. Here is the honest answer.

I came here for a moisturizer. Why is a cleanser one of your first suggestions?
Because a cleanser that strips can undo a good cream in under a minute. Dry skin usually starts going wrong at the sink, so we would fix that step before adding anything richer. After that, D.B.T. Baba Yaga is the cream we would put you on, with 7 Winters underneath it at night. Everything else in the line is safe on dry skin. It simply is not built around it.
What are the ceramides in D.B.T. Baba Yaga?

Ceramides are a natural part of your skin barrier, and they act like glue that keeps your skin cells together. They’re also essential for keeping your skin barrier strong so it can reject pollutants and seal in moisture. You can always use more ceramides, so we’ve made them an essential part of D.B.T. Baba Yaga’s formula.

Can I use 7 Winters in place of a moisturizer?

Nope! 7 Winters is a firming and lifting serum, not a moisturizer. Grab a container of DBT Baba Yaga to moisturize after using 7 Winters.

How often should I use 7 Winters?

For best results, use 7 Winters every evening. Your skin thrives when it has a consistent doses of vitamins!

Can I use D.B.T. Baba Yaga around my eyes?

Absolutely! Apply the cream using your ring finger in circular motions around the entire eye area, upper and lower lids. To get the most of your cream, also apply it around your lips to reduce the appearance of smile lines.

How often should I use B-Meltee?

For best results, wash your face with B-Meltee every morning and evening. We promise you’ll start to crave its minty tingle!

Dry skin is short on oil, not water

Most dry-skin advice is about water, and water is only half the problem. Another glass will not change how your face feels by mid afternoon. What helps is putting lipids back, then keeping them from evaporating off again. A cleanser that strips undoes a good cream in half a minute, so ours washes the day off and stops there.

The plant oils and lipids that comfort a depleted barrier are the delicate ones, and heat is what wears them down. Ours stay chilled from the day they arrive until the day a bottle is filled and sealed. A synthetic preservative system exists to hold a formula steady on a shelf for years, and there is not one in any of these. What you smooth on at night is close to what left our studio.
