Blue tansy is a chamomile-family botanical with an unusually high concentration of chamazulene, the compound behind its deep color and its anti-inflammatory action. Chamazulene interrupts the inflammatory signaling that drives eczema flares, redness, and reactive responses. I grew up in the Soviet Union watching my grandmother make skincare from her garden. It worked because it was fresh. There was no other option.
In 2018, I began cold-storing every ingredient and finished product. I hadn't changed a single formula; the reviews changed on their own. A national retailer offered us shelf placement but refused to refrigerate. We walked away.
