Berry Boreal Bod: Blue Tansy & Elderberry Body Oil
A protective body oil for skin that reacts to everything else. Blue tansy oil, unusually rich in anti-inflammatory chamazulene, calms the signaling behind eczema flares, redness, and reactive responses rather than masking them. Three oils chosen for absorption (jojoba, rice bran, and plant squalane) carry it in: jojoba mirrors your skin’s own sebum, so it sinks in under a minute with no greasy film. Lipid-soluble vitamin C and vitamin E add a self-renewing antioxidant shield across everywhere you apply. Formulated in small weekly batches and kept at 4°C from raw ingredient to finished bottle, so the heat-sensitive chamazulene, vitamin C, and delicate plant oils reach your skin the way they were formulated instead of oxidizing into the very irritants a warm shelf can create. No synthetic fragrance, no chemical preservatives, because cold does their job.

Common Questions
Yes. Blue tansy's chamazulene is a natural anti-inflammatory that calms the signaling behind reactive, eczema-prone skin, and the formula carries no synthetic fragrance or chemical preservatives, two common triggers. Patch test first if your skin is very reactive.
No. Jojoba, rice bran, and squalane are chosen for absorption, not surface feel. On damp skin most people find it sinks in within a minute, with no film left behind.
Yes. One pump smoothed through damp or dry ends softens frizz and adds shine without weighing hair down.
Most people finish a 50 ml bottle in 6 to 8 weeks with daily use (1-2 pumps per body area). A little goes further than a typical body oil.

Cold-preserved from the moment it's formulated: no warm warehouses, no months on a shelf, no chemical stabilizers. Three actives reach your skin at the same potency as the day they were made. Tap a card to see the mechanism.
Calms the response, not just the surface
Blue tansy is a chamomile-family botanical with an unusually high concentration of chamazulene, the compound behind its deep color and its anti-inflammatory action. Chamazulene interrupts the inflammatory signaling that drives eczema flares, redness, and reactive responses. For skin that reacts to most products, this is the ingredient that calms the reaction rather than masking it. Chamazulene is also heat-sensitive: when it oxidizes it loses that anti-inflammatory function, which is why it is kept cold from the first day.
Chosen for how skin takes them in
Three oils selected for absorption, not surface feel. Jojoba is structurally close to your skin's own sebum, so your skin treats it as its own instead of rejecting it. Rice bran oil is lightweight and vitamin E-rich, carrying the formula inward. Amaranthus squalane is plant-derived and bioidentical to your skin's own lipids, locking in moisture from the inside without leaving a film. Together they absorb in under a minute, with no greasy residue.
A shield that renews itself
The same lipid-soluble vitamin C used in our facial serums, paired with vitamin E and rounded out by elderberry flower extract, the antioxidant botanical this oil is named for. The vitamins work as a cycle: after C neutralizes a free radical, E regenerates the spent molecule so it can work again, and elderberry’s polyphenols add a botanical layer to the same defense. A self-renewing shield against UV, environmental stress, and daily friction, everywhere you apply.
Conventional skincare vs Wild Ice
One degree-day = one degree above refrigeration, for one day.
237× the heat exposure before it ever touches your skin. Chamazulene that never oxidized keeps doing what you bought it for: calming reactive skin instead of provoking it.

More on why heat matters
Three short chapters: the journey, the chemistry, and the beauty-fridge problem
The Journey That Adds Up
The Problem Was Never Your Routine.
Preservatives fight one problem. Heat causes three.
1
Bacterial Digestion
Bacteria multiply in warm formulas. Preservatives suppress them. Cold slows them too, without adding to what your skin has to absorb.
2
Redox Reactions
Heat drives chemical reactions that degrade vitamin C, ceramides, and peptides. Preservatives don't slow this process. Cold does.
3
Enzymatic Activity
Plant enzymes keep breaking down botanical compounds after harvest. Preservatives don't affect this. Cold puts them on pause.
Cold Can't Unspoil the Banana
Everyone wants fresh skincare. That's why beauty fridges are everywhere. But chilling a conventional serum makes about as much sense as refrigerating an old banana.
Your serum absorbed 1,956 degree-days of heat before it ever met a fridge. A banana at least has the courtesy to turn brown; a degraded cream looks and feels identical to a fresh one.
Beauty fridges make conventional skincare cold at the end. Wild Ice is cold from the beginning.

Between warm warehouses, hot freight, and un-chilled retail shelves, it's nearly impossible to get big while staying cold. The industry won't change until enough customers demand it. Someone had to take the plunge first, so we did.
Fresh was never optional
I grew up in the Soviet Union watching my grandmother make skincare from her garden. It worked because it was fresh. There was no other option.
In 2018, I began cold-storing every ingredient and finished product. I hadn't changed a single formula; the reviews changed on their own. A national retailer offered us shelf placement but refused to refrigerate. We walked away.
Every product is made in our studio, in small weekly batches. I've worn every formula through three pregnancies. Every bottle is one I'd use on my own family.
