So why don't all brands chill?
Between warm warehouses, hot freight, and un-chilled retail shelves, it's nearly impossible to get big while staying cold. The industry won't change until enough customers demand it. Someone had to take the plunge first, so we did.
Fresh was never optional
I grew up in the Soviet Union watching my grandmother make skincare from her garden. It worked because it was fresh. There was no other option.
In 2018, I began cold-storing every ingredient and finished product. I hadn't changed a single formula; the reviews changed on their own. A national retailer offered us shelf placement but refused to refrigerate. We walked away.

No. D.B.T. absorbs quickly and leaves skin feeling soft, not coated. The base includes abyssinian oil and murumuru butter, both lightweight emollients that penetrate rather than sit on the surface, and many reviewers specifically mention that it hydrates without heaviness. There is also a preservation factor worth knowing about: when oils and emollients degrade through heat and oxidation, they can form heavier, stickier compounds that were not in the original formula. Cold preservation keeps the texture consistent with how it was designed.
Softer, more hydrated skin is immediate. Firmer, more lifted-looking skin and softer-looking fine lines build gradually, because D.B.T. works by signaling your skin to rebuild its own collagen rather than sitting on the surface. Yes. Using your ring finger for the lightest touch, gently pat around the entire eye area, upper and lower lids. The ceramide complex and peptides are particularly relevant around the eyes, where skin is thinnest and barrier thinning shows first. Many customers also apply around the lips to help soften smile lines.
D.B.T. is a soft, pale pink cream with a light, cushiony texture that absorbs quickly. The color comes from the botanicals in the formula, not a synthetic dye, so it can vary subtly from batch to batch. A little goes a long way; a few drops cover face, neck, and eyes.
About 2 to 3 weeks using a few drops twice daily: the 8 ml bottle holds well over 150 drops. The full-size bottle lasts 8 to 10 weeks. The mini is the same concentrated formula, sized so you can feel the texture and see how your skin responds before committing to the full size.
Yes. Identical formula, same weekly batch cycle, same cold storage. The only differences are the bottle size and the dropper: the mini exists so you can experience the results before committing to the full size.
The full-size bottle uses a pump because it lives on your vanity for 8 to 10 weeks, and a pump keeps fingers and air out of the formula that whole time. The mini is finished in about two to three weeks, so a dropper keeps the bottle compact and travel-friendly. The same guidance applies to both: finish within 90 days of leaving the fridge.
You don't need to refrigerate products during daily use, but we recommend finishing each bottle within 90 days of leaving the fridge. If you're not ready to start using a product right away, store it cold until you are (any household fridge is fine). Don't freeze water-based products, and keep all products out of direct sunlight. A beauty fridge is a nice bonus, not a requirement: the cold-preservation advantage happens before the product ever reaches you.

Luxury in a bottle

I love this D.B.T. Baba Yaga! I've been using it for a few months now and it leaves my face feeling smooth and my skin feeling amazing. It's very light and has a great feel when applying it. Overall, I'm very happy with this product and would recommend it! I do wish I could take the top of the container off for ease of getting the last bits out though.
