Fresh Essentials for Redness

When your skin flushes at the smallest thing, what is left out of a formula matters as much as what is in

Start with these three

Begin here

Gaea's Gala

Six functional ingredients, with nothing padding them out: galactomyces ferment, niacinamide and little else. When your skin argues with most things, the shortest formula is the kindest place to begin.

D.B.T. Baba Yaga

The base is organic rose water, and the ceramides ride in it rather than in a fragranced cream. On skin that feels easily set off, barrier support does more than any clever active.

When you want more

B-Meltee

That startling blue comes from botanicals rather than dye, and no fragrance was added to it. It goes on cool and rinses away without leaving your face tight.

Buy the routine

When a whole routine feels like too much

Adding four new things at once is a lot to ask of skin that is already touchy. Two is easier to read. The Glow Duo is the vitamin C serum for your mornings and the ceramide cream for your nights. It costs $128.70, where the serum and the cream bought singly come to $143.

Answered

The first question is the one our own line raises. Here is the honest answer.

My skin flushes at almost anything. Can I really use the rest of these?
You can, and that is the point of building formulas this way. None of the skincare carries a chemical preservative, a perfume blend or a colorant, so the usual suspects are missing. That is why one formula suits skin that flushes and skin that never does. If your face runs hot and pink by the afternoon, start with the three we put at the top.
What's actually in your products? Any hidden nasties?

Nothing hidden. Ever.

Thanks to cold preservation, we never need:

  • Parabens
  • Sulfates
  • Phthalates
  • Synthetic fragrances
  • Formaldehyde-releasing preservatives
  • BPAs
  • GMOs
  • Petroleum derivatives
  • Or any of those other unpronounceable chemicals

Cold inhibits all three types of breakdown: oxidation, enzymatic activity, and bacterial digestion. That means we can use pure, natural ingredients without compromise. Organic when possible, wild-crafted when it's better, always sustainably sourced.

What are the ceramides in D.B.T. Baba Yaga?

Ceramides are a natural part of your skin barrier, and they act like glue that keeps your skin cells together. They’re also essential for keeping your skin barrier strong so it can reject pollutants and seal in moisture. You can always use more ceramides, so we’ve made them an essential part of D.B.T. Baba Yaga’s formula.

Is incorporating a toner in my skincare routine really necessary?

If you want healthy skin, then the answer is yes! Gaea’s gala helps to rebuild your skin’s microbiome so it retains moisture better, heals more easily, and absorbs your skincare products better.

Where does your rose water come from?

We use high-quality, organic rose water sourced from a small farm in Bulgaria. We freeze the water until it’s ready to use for the cream, so it stays fresh and potent.

Why is cold preservation such a big deal? (And why does no one else do it?)

We get this question constantly. Usually right after "Wait, this makes so much sense!"

Here's the thing: You already know cold keeps things fresh. You keep your organic salad in the fridge. Your $15 green juice? Chilled. That expensive probiotic supplement? Refrigerated. So why are you okay with your $80 vitamin C serum sitting in a hot warehouse for months?

The beauty industry has convinced you that "shelf-stable" equals convenient. But shelf-stable really means pumped full of preservatives or stripped of anything that could actually transform your skin. Cold preservation keeps delicate active ingredients perfectly intact. No chemical preservatives needed. No ingredients breaking down into irritating compounds. Just pure, potent skincare that actually works.

Why we're the only ones: Most brands can't control their production – they outsource to facilities that don't offer refrigeration. Amazon requires products to withstand 155°F heat (yes, really). And retailers? They're not about to install refrigerators that make their other products look inferior by comparison.

We chose the hard path. We make everything ourselves, keep it cold until shipping, and partner only with boutiques willing to use our Iceberg displays. Because fresh skincare shouldn't be a compromise.

Why a shorter formula suits skin that flushes

Three things turn up in almost every bottle on a shelf: a chemical preservative, a perfume blend and a colorant or two. They are in there for shelf life and for looks, which serves the product more than it serves you. Wild Ice skincare leaves all three out. That leaves less in the bottle overall, and less for touchy skin to get acquainted with.

Leaving them out is only possible because we chill everything. Every ingredient is held at 4°C before it goes into a bottle, and it stays that way once the bottle is sealed. That is what keeps a formula stable, so a preservative system is not doing that job here. The lists stay short as a result. Gaea's Gala gets by on six functional ingredients, and skin that flushes easily tends to get along with less.
