Yuki-Onna: Triple-Acid Exfoliating Mask
A dual-action exfoliating mask that clears dullness at every depth. Three acids (glycolic, lactic, and natural salicylic from wild-crafted white willow bark) dissolve buildup below the surface, while a three-seed blend of pomegranate, cranberry, and blueberry gently polishes above it. Roman chamomile and three forms of aloe keep freshly revealed skin calm from the first minute, and Abyssinian and shea oils replenish the lipids exfoliation strips, so skin feels softer after than before. Use it as a 15-minute treatment mask or a 2-minute polish: same jar, different intensity. Formulated in small weekly batches and kept at 4°C from raw ingredient to finished jar, because acids are heat-sensitive and cold holds all three at the exact strength they were formulated at. No plastic microbeads, no synthetic fragrance, no sulfates, and 100% vegan.

How to Use
- Apply a thin, even layer to clean, dry skin (a translucent veil, not a thick paste)
- Leave on 15 minutes; a gentle tingle means the acids are working
- Wet your fingertips and massage in circles to activate the seeds
- Rinse with lukewarm water and pat dry
- On damp skin, massage a small amount in gentle circles
- The water activates the seeds while limiting acid contact time
- Rinse with lukewarm water and pat dry

Common Questions
Both come from the same jar. Use the 15-minute mask for deep renewal, or dampen the granules and massage for a 2-minute polish when you want quick brightness with less acid contact. New to acids or sensitive? Start with the polish.
Most reviewers describe a visible glow and smoother texture right after the first use. Tone and clarity keep improving with weekly use.
1 to 2 times per week. Give your skin a rest day between exfoliation, and use SPF the following morning.
It was built to make multi-acid exfoliation gentle: Roman chamomile and three forms of aloe calm skin during the treatment, not after. Start with the 2-minute polish if you're cautious.

Cold-preserved from the moment it's formulated: no warm warehouses, no months on a shelf, no chemical stabilizers. Three actives reach your skin at the same potency as the day they were made. Tap a card to see the mechanism.
Three acids, three depths
Glycolic, lactic, and natural salicylic acid from wild-crafted white willow bark. Glycolic has the smallest molecule, so it penetrates deepest for cellular renewal. Lactic works the mid-layers, hydrating as it exfoliates. Salicylic is oil-soluble, so it cuts through sebum to clear congestion inside pores where water-soluble acids can't reach. Sugar cane, lemon, and apple extracts add natural AHA support. Acids are heat-sensitive, and cold keeps all three at the strength they were formulated at.
Pomegranate, cranberry, blueberry
While the acids dissolve buildup below the surface, these antioxidant-rich seeds give gentle mechanical polish above it. Each seed is a slightly different size, for a more thorough physical exfoliation than single-seed scrubs, buffing away dead cells without micro-tears. Unlike plastic microbeads, they break down naturally.
Calm from the first minute
This is how Yuki-Onna exfoliates without leaving skin raw. Roman chamomile calms on contact. Three forms of aloe (leaf extract, whole leaf, and flower) hydrate and soothe at different rates, opening a recovery window that starts during the treatment itself. Abyssinian and shea oils replenish the lipids exfoliation strips, so skin feels softer after than before.
Conventional skincare vs Wild Ice
One degree-day = one degree above refrigeration, for one day.
237× the heat exposure before it ever touches your face. Acids that never oxidized and soothing botanicals that never degraded reach your skin in the exact balance they were formulated at: predictable strength, predictable results.

More on why heat matters
Three short chapters: the journey, the chemistry, and the beauty-fridge problem
The Journey That Adds Up
The Problem Was Never Your Routine.
Preservatives fight one problem. Heat causes three.
1
Bacterial Digestion
Bacteria multiply in warm formulas. Preservatives suppress them. Cold slows them too, without adding to what your skin has to absorb.
2
Redox Reactions
Heat drives chemical reactions that degrade vitamin C, ceramides, and peptides. Preservatives don't slow this process. Cold does.
3
Enzymatic Activity
Plant enzymes keep breaking down botanical compounds after harvest. Preservatives don't affect this. Cold puts them on pause.
Cold Can't Unspoil the Banana
Everyone wants fresh skincare. That's why beauty fridges are everywhere. But chilling a conventional serum makes about as much sense as refrigerating an old banana.
Your serum absorbed 1,956 degree-days of heat before it ever met a fridge. A banana at least has the courtesy to turn brown; a degraded cream looks and feels identical to a fresh one.
Beauty fridges make conventional skincare cold at the end. Wild Ice is cold from the beginning.

Made fresh weekly, so actives are still active when they reach you.
Between warm warehouses, hot freight, and un-chilled retail shelves, it's nearly impossible to get big while staying cold. The industry won't change until enough customers demand it. Someone had to take the plunge first, so we did.
Fresh was never optional
I grew up in the Soviet Union watching my grandmother make skincare from her garden. It worked because it was fresh. There was no other option.
In 2018, I began cold-storing every ingredient and finished product. I hadn't changed a single formula; the reviews changed on their own. A national retailer offered us shelf placement but refused to refrigerate. We walked away.
Every product is made in our studio, in small weekly batches. I've worn every formula through three pregnancies. Every bottle is one I'd use on my own family.
